OST AAHF Hip Hop Competition Sponsored by Blackout Studios, The Flywire, and Visionary Marketing Group * In Search of ONE amazing act to represent Baltimore at the area's hottest festival: The African American Heritage Festival * The competition will take place with two preliminary rounds on Tuesday, May 23rd and May 30th * Entry Fee: $5 (regular OST admission) * Rules of the contest 1. No profanity (family festival) 2. Contestants must supply their own tracks and or musicians. 3. Time limit: 5-minute preliminary round audition &10 minute final for qualifying contestants * How to participate: Include Group/artist Name, Phone, and contact name. You will be notified of acceptance based on space prior to the 23rd. The competition is limited to serious and dynamic applicants on a first come-first served basis. Only the first 15-20 acts to respond will be allowed to compete. No walk-ups!!! * How the contest works: For notified participants check-in is at 7:30 p.m. Two qualifying rounds, with each contestant performing 5 minutes, on May 23rd and May 30th will yield one finalist each. The two finalists will perform for 10 minutes each on June 6th. * The Winner will get a 25-minute opening slot for the Old School Hip Hop All-Stars and $250 (Doug E Fresh, Big Daddy Kane, MC Lyte, Biz Mark E etc) on Friday, June 16, 2006 at the African American Heritage Festival at Camden Yards. * Performers....the time to act is NOW!!!!
