This post made me think about something..........how do people feel when someone is reppin' your city, and you've never heard of them?

It's a double edged sword for me honestly.........

And yes, you can call yourself the Queen, of you don't think of yourself like that FIRST...........no one else will! At least that's what I think!

I would imagine that is difficult.

I can tell that you are a proud Bostontonian...is that what yall call yallselves?

...but its kinda difficult for your people at "home" to know you are reppin hard for them miles away unless you have a team there. It's kinda hard. Your only one person and its hard enough just trying to cover the territory in your immediate surroundings.

I can see how it happens....that after a while..artists stop really mentioning where they are REALLY from and just rep their new home town or no place at all for real. Look at DMX....he was from yonkers when he first came out- i think...and Lloyd Banks...they say he is from here too...

I read it somewhere anon...i tried to find a link I could post, but only found one and it lead me to a post/page that was no longer there. I think I read it online or in a magazine...it was like a list of everyone from the area who is already "on". I will keep on lookin...maybe someone else knows the dilly! but its so many other people that are from here and you would never know!
