 Not sure if you've ever been to the Good Love Bar, but the spot is very cool. Located on Boston Street in Caton, the vibe of the spot is very modern and cosmopolitan. Very mellow and dimly lit, it is the perfect spot for a couple to go together. I went there on 7.3.06 for the special pre-4th of July party and had a ball. The spot was packed (people were willing to pay $20 at 1:30 AM to get in the door) thanks in part to the fact that Lil Mic was dj-ing. I ran into so many people....it proved to be a great networking experience. * Mixx Mondays goes down every Monday Night (9-2 AM). I definitely reccomend this spot to adults looking for a relaxed place to go on a Monday night...drinks are reasonable...sexy people are in abundance and the music is groovy -- very jazzy, old school, dirty house, soul with a splash of new school here and there. I am not sure about the admission cost($10 or less 4 sure), but you can get you a great martini (no french tho) for $4 - you can't beat that. * Tuesday is Organic Soul's 5 Year Anniversary! Congrats to the entire black out studios family. This will be a celebration you don't want to miss. The night will include performances from several OS All-stars including Brown F.I.S.H, Ab Rock and J- Soul (The J-Rock Project). I'm going to be out in the streets ( @ "EVERYTHING") this whole week... promoting and toasting.....so get at me if you want to get advance tickets for the show on the 26th. * |
