Yesterday was the last day for the Baltimore AAHF. This year's celebration was very nice. I thought that the Camden Yards site was a great location. Although the festival was free, I had to pay $10 for parking. That was a little steep, but if you look at it as $10 to see Chaka Khan, Biz Markie, Erika Badu and Lil Bro [depending on the night you went]....it was a steal!!! Apparently, the festival got a few complains about commercialism at the festival. While I had a great time.....I kinda have to agree with this writer's assesment. Sad, but true: I saw an asian woman selling a T-shirt that read, "I love my People" printed on the shape of Africa (the continent) LOL! it's funny in retrospect, but it was kind of odd and unsettling. I could shoot myself....I forgot my camera! Sooooooooo...I have no pics to show you. I was rushing to get there and felt that I didn't have the time to turn around. If I would have only knew....NOT only did I have time to go back home...LOL!, but I could have went and got me something to eat. I sat around for like 2 hours. Its all good tho....there were quite a few photographers there...I am sure one of them got some shots. If I am able, I will post some. I looked cute yesterday too...LOL! The ladies of Baltimore Hip Hop definitely put on a great show! Everyone arrived looking beautiful and ready to set the stage on fiyah! Smooches for all of you - Ms. Stres, Golden Seal (Reflect Son & Jahli) and B. Fly!!! Thank you so much for making me feel part of your show. I had a great time!!! I wished I could rap more than I ever have in my life yesterday. I need a ghost writer!!!! LOL! just playin! Im noooooo rapper! Surprise additions included, G.E.M. (formally known as Tha Plague) and Nic Soprano. Sound truly does make a huge difference. The sound was great!!!! I even came out liking a song that I originally thought was aiight! I vow to always make sure sound for my events in on point.
Big ups to everyone that took the time out to show the performers love.

That article about white T's was a cover story in the Bmore City Paper last summer. It was definitely an interesting look at the issue, good to see it got nominated for some kind of award.
