TINY FUSION ARE THE KINGS & QUEENS OF THE HILL
On Saturday, June 24, 2006, Milestone Media presented The End of School Talent Showdown 2006 @ The Arena Players Playhouse (801 Mc Culloh St) & despite a few glitches*...the show was very entertaining.

    LIKE*
Judges Joe Dalvage (The Foundation) and Sonjay (92Q Big Phat Morning Show) were both NO SHOWS!!!
Porkchop of 92Q was supposed to Host but he was a NO SHOW!!!
DJ Franchise was supposed to DJ, but he was a NO SHOW!!!
Some show CDs would not work
The AC was broke...LOL! OMG! I might have lost a pound sitting in there...HA!
    .................&
    My water was warm
    *
I am MORE THAN sure that most of this was over looked by the mostly school age audience.....They just wanted to see the dancers...LOL! and to scream OBVIOUSLY!
    *
I judged along with Kelly Connelly (http://www.kellyconnelly.com/) and Kev from South Paw Entertainment. IMO we had the best seat in the house - FRONT ROW! I was a bit alarmed when I saw that there were 8 featured acts in addition to the youth competing in the KING OF THE HILL Teenage Talent (14- 19) Show. "Oh noooooooooooo"......is what raced through my mind...BUT it really worked out quite nicely. I wasn't bored at all! There were approximately 10 competitors...displaying a wide variety of talent AND ALL of them bought their A-GAME.

I finally got the opportunity to see DK perform and that was a treat. Dude is VERY ENERGETIC! Shout out to the whole 730 commision.
Big Ups to Midas (Team Green) who had the lil girls up in there wrapped around his fingers with his mixture of hip hop, dance and comedy...LOL! (not literally), but you were a lot of fun to watch!
South Paw Entertainment (Kadar, Kashon & G-Man) gave us crazy energy. Big Ups to you all for the moves yall been making as of late. I see ya!
Dirty Hartz minus Slixta performed a couple new songs (I believe) that were rockin! This one in particular is definitely something for the clubs....perhaps its off of the "Club Crack" album that's gettin ready to drop on Koch??!!! That "Eh yuuuurp" song is too funnybecause it is so B'more. The fact that the beat ABSOLUTELY knocks prolly adds to the excitement I feel whenever I hear it! Oh &....didn't know he was away until yesterday, but special shout out to Mal!
Other stand out featured performances included those of Jodie Fair and the Yung Hustlas! Ms. Fair has a very beautiful voice. Please check her out on MYSPACE when you get a chance. YH didn't win.....I'm expecting some hate mail during the next few days...LOL! Nah...these guys were honestly 1 point away from being in the running for winner. They had the young girls in the spot going crazy with their song, "The Way She Move". That damn Blue had the nerve to try to pull me on stage with him....Oh HELL Naaaaah!...he is 16 and fresh as hell- Walking hormones! Make sure yall cop that, "Strictly Business" Mixtape, I am tellin you........THEY KILL EVERY BEAT!!!! These kids are going to surprise a lot of people with their songwriting abilities.

Pluck (Milestone Media) - Organizer & GREAT Host

E the Poet Emcee & Shodekeh (surprise guest)

    Midas

    DK

    Lost Souls (SouthPaw Ent)

    Blue (Yung Hustlas)

Jimmy Beans (Thanks for the heartfelt shout out and EXTRA love!!!! Its nothing like having kids shout your names...LOL! You da best!)

    B.O.M.B. & DEM! Ghood People!....unless I don't get my t-shirt!

Ray Victory with his new mixtape.

I listened to the joint on the way home....& I need to holla at Nelly Nell for serious! They don't call him the blend king for nothing.

Also...he gave me a few tracks from this guy, BOOGIE!!!! He is gonna be a problem, B'More!

There were some very ghood singers, dancers & musicians (surprisingly....NO RAPPERS!!!!!), BUT....there can only be 1 winner:

These kids were so good! Congrats to Tiny Fusion! They were a dance troupe of around 20 kids. The had the Spot caught up with their costumes....props....smiles and other things to make you say, "WOW"! They really gave it there all. You can tell they really practiced....quiet as kept...some of these lil girls has abs to die for. I enjoyed there show tremendously and they truly deserved the top honor. Its so hard to jugde kids because you know they are all trying! They recieved $500 in cash, a photo shoot with Kelly Connelly and a $100 Gift from a local clothing retailer. I know they will never forget this day! Cutie with the yellow LO was dancing his butt off!!! There were so happy...just the look on their faces let me know that...we cannot forget the kids. "They are always watching", us as Ms. Jodie Fair pointed out. Congrats Milestone on setting a fine example for all of us! Thanks for including me! Mwah!
