It feels soooo good to be in the "[ concrete ]" loop:

Shock jock extraordinaire Wendy Williams lets loose with the first in a series of novels based on her alter ego, the divalicious radio DJ Ritz Harper. Who?* Readers will salivate as they try to figure out where the fictional Ritz ends and the real-life Wendy begins. Wendy will involve her millions of listeners by asking them what should happen to Ritz, which will be revealed at the beginning of the next novel, scheduled to be published in fall of 2006 for Christmas.

I really admire this woman tremendously. There is no one else like her......I feel given the right format...she could really BLOW!!! She is really making some BIG moves.... I feel that it's coming. I'm soooo surprised that neither Cable One nor D.O.D. have offered her a TV show of her own yet. I read an article in Black Enterprises [i think that was the mag] about her show's executive producer that was great. Please believe, she has a serious team behind her. There is no way she could have gotten as far as she has without people around her to act as buffers to the shade she is no doubt thrown on a regular. There is no way she could have made it all this time talkin all that sh*t if she was telling a bunch of lies and just running her mouth. Why has she never been sued for liable or slander....if so, by whom and did they win? I think that is why she is such a polarizing figure....you figure..."she has to have her sources". She would have beeeeeeen shut down otherwise. Plus, there is no one else who's name get's mentioned in contemporary urban fiction [particularly books about the rap world] more than Williams. She is a cultural icon regardless of if you like her style or not!

I think she is making her disposition work for her. She is a Mess [yes!....BIG azz hair, hot pink lipstick, a chest that greets you before she does, brazen attitude, annoying voice], but she is also hella entertaining and that, my friend, is her JOB. I wish we could get her show in Bmore...I'd surly listen.

What's next??? she's done an album...this is like her second or third book...man, she "want$ in"..I feel that! I am a real sucker for a great piece of fiction...I literally can't wait to get my copy of this. She is soooo inspirational! I am not saying I want to be hated [which she certainly is, by some accounts], but hell.... people hate regardless .... even if you don't talk about them....so why not just put it out there & represent for the people that appreciate rawness. Now...I have to just stop talking about it and write my own d*mn book. I know I can tell a story that will make a few jaws drop...I think a few of the things that have happen to me over the last month would make for a VERY compelling read.... & the saga continues.....

Last week it was Tyson Beckford is gay [well actually she's been saying that forever....along with Puffy...Busta...Usher...& a few others].....& this week it's HOOPS (everyone's favorite diva from The Flava of Love) on her shit list......read on! This Hoops biz is KING!!! he he!
