Black Flag Boys Yall know EJ showed off!!! He gave a really good show! "Drinkin and Smokin" never sounded so great! Mucho Gracious for all the love you show me, homes! The guy is such a freakin entertainer!!! Introducing Paper Boy!!! "The 17 year old phenom" as he put it...LOL! He came out on stage full of braggadocio! He was pretty good too! I can see him becoming a big name one day. Charm City sho knows how to give a party. This was my first time in Club Mate and I must say...I was impressed. It is a very pretty venue...TOO DAMN BAD its on Hanover Streeet. It just seems so out of place. Brooklyn (yeah, we have one in Baltimore too), is its own world. This is a part of the city where it seems to be totally normal for whites and blacks to call each other n*gga...LOL! anyways..that is anutha post * .........when Backland took the stage......EVERYONE was too their feet! It was really nice to see him get up there performing. This day has been a long time coming....The man has so much courage!!! I am sorry that so many people missed this great chance to let a Baltimore Hip Hop ikon know how much we are behind him. Hopefully...folk won't miss many more. We all need each other. If we don't support events like this one who will?????....just remember one day it will be your turn. I am sure the rain prevented a few people from showing their faces...BUT shit...If I could get in an accident involving a LIGHT RAIL and still make it....not sure what that says about some of yall. Its all ghood doh!...all of us that were there had a blast! HIGHLIGHT: Seeing Backland perform G'ed up was worth the headache of a nappy ass head today! Massive shout out to the entire Charm City Records fam (including Cole- thanks for the bands...the food was delish!, C- you are a great host!........... & Backland-mwah!!!!). I didn't see Mo, but he was surly missed! Much love to Gata, EJ & Ebony!!!! You are the greatest, Ms. Lady!!!!

Thanks for the pics and the recap, I was kinda upset that I couldn't go to this event. I really wanted to actually meet Backland...we've only corresponded through Myspace.
EJ was so excited when he called last night, so I knew it was a great show!
